The Cph:cool mission was born in 2005 with our guided Urban:cool tour on Vesterbro: No more “only-monuments” and traditional sightseeing! Copenhagen is not only about Tivoli Gardens and The LIttle Mermaid – We know that urban travellers are busy and curious and we want to help our guests by making a shortcut into the best Copenhagen has to offer, mixing a cocktail of authentic, green and local lifestyle, design, architecture, liveability and culture on our personal Copenhagen tours.
Cph:cool was founded by Sine Louise Schmidt and Kristine Munkgård Pedersen.
Sine has been walking the streets of Copenhagen since she was a little girl, growing up in the idyllic neighborhood of Christianshavn – and there is not one single little corrner in town she doesn´t know. She loves riding her bike, strolling around and drinking coffee, so she is always in chase of coffee shops with a cozy atmosphere. Charming The Audo café/open office space/design lab in the old industrial harbour area of Nordhavn is her absolute favourite spot at the moment. These years Nordhavn is transformed into a new residential area, and there is always a new project to discover. Being a certified guide as well as holding a Master´s degree in cultural dissemination, makes Sine a passionate storyteller when it comes to Danish culture, design, urban planning, aestectics and architecture.
A client, Louise Strandberg Clemmensen´s experience:
Sine took us on a fantastic tour around authentic Nørrebro. She tailormade the program for our very international audience and made a very cold night exciting and fun. Sine was very enthusiastic and friendly. I can only recommend Cph:Cool!
Since 2015 Kristine has been working as a programme director for the Meet Copenhagen City department, so Sine is the only woman onboard the Cph:cool mission now. When needed, she hires her favourite certified and passionate guides for the tailored tours ensuring to offer the highest standards available.
